The Kontakt conference is a platform for strengthening the cultural infrastructure of the region. The only relevant music conference in Serbia has been organized since 2017 and gathers professionals from the creative industries and music business every March.

The mission of the Kontakt conference is multifaceted: it aims to foster innovation and present successful projects within the regional music industry, unify industry stakeholders, and facilitate networking among festival organizers, promoters, tourist associations, cultural centers, clubs, and other cultural and arts workers. These efforts significantly contribute to economic development.

Kontakt Conference was the only representative of Serbia as a member of INES (Innovation Network of European Showcases), a network within which 19 European showcase conferences and festivals cooperate. And within Kontakt, the Serbian Music Managers Forum was established in 2022.

From 2017 to today, Kontakt has hosted more than 50,000 visitors and 150 accredited journalists from all over Europe and has realized 200 events and more than 80 showcase performances.
