Simona Kanjevac is the founder and director of Urban Muse – Live Scenes! and the annual Urban Muse Festival. Over the course of seven years in the music industry, she has collaborated with more than 180 artists and contributed to the realization of 25 festivals.
As an End-to-End (E2E) producer, she covers the full project lifecycle, with a strong focus on crisis management and budgeting within complex production systems.
Her experience in leading agencies (Charm Music, Spectar Media Agency, Action Angels, Odličan Hrčak) includes work on global and regional projects such as the Glastonbury Festival, concerts by KISS, 5SOS, Wardruna, Five Finger Death Punch, and Birdy, as well as tour management for Goblini and Beogradski Sindikat. As Official Manager (2021–2023), she led the European tour of the band STAIN.
The evolution of her brand has been marked by a national tour and the fusion of fashion and contemporary music. In 2024, the Urban Muse Festival expanded from a multi-day event in iconic Belgrade venues (Republic Square, Dom omladine Belgrade, Klub Fest) into a nationwide manifestation across 20 locations in Serbia. Half a decade of the brand was crowned with another original concept — the Urban Muse Fashion Show — a pioneering blend of high fashion and rock band aesthetics. The show also promoted inclusivity, upcycling, support for small entrepreneurs, the preservation of music journalism traditions, and community building. This multidisciplinary format set new production standards, attracting the attention of leading media figures and industry professionals.
She has been studying talent scientifically since the age of nineteen and is currently a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade. Further education at the Faculty of Music Arts enabled her to explore the psychology of music in the context of the international music industry and education.
Following the release of her song “Tišina” on the Femixeta 13 compilation, in 2025 she formed an indie-punk band with which she is creating material for an original EP.
Belgrade serves as her base for solo travel, exploring new destinations, acting, and DJing.
“She – Tomb Raider” or “The Girl with a Laptop” are nicknames given to her by observers who encounter her while preparing new projects, or by audiences during festival productions on the ground.
