Born in 1962 (Belgrade, Dorćol). Studied psychology, graduated in communication. From 1986, he began to regularly publish music texts and reviews in “Student”, and from 1987 to 1990 he was the editor of the Theoria column in the same newspaper, starting the music page within the Culture column, on which, under his editorship, a large number of younger began his career as a music critic. In the same period, he publishes his texts in “Rock”, “Beorama”, “NON”, “Mladost”, “Stava” and numerous other magazines. From 1989 to 1991, he was one of the founders and music editor of the first Yugoslav alternative magazine “Ritam” (“a guide to popular culture”), and from 1991 to 1995, its editor-in-chief and publisher. From 1997 until today, he regularly publishes reviews, essays and interviews in the political weekly “Vreme” (since 1997), as well as on the popular websites and portals B92 (until 2004), Popboks (until 2013), and Nova.rs (since 2020). . He published about 4,000 texts, mostly about popular music and cultural phenomena.

Believing that it is a natural extension of writing about music – the organization of concerts of the groups he writes about, especially foreign ones, he first got involved in promotional work in 1990 by hosting the American alternative band Nova Mob at Club FLU (1990). Since then, he has had a continuous career as one of the most engaged organizers of foreign guest appearances in our country (an especially important early achievement is the legendary performance of The Prodigy in 1995 at Pionir Hall). From 1994 to 1996, he was the program editor of the FLU Club (Popular Academy). From 1999 to 2004, he ran the B92 Concert Agency, and since 2003 he has been managing the Main Stage program of the EXIT festival in Novi Sad, the largest regional music festival. Since 2005, he has been working as the responsible and music editor of the Belgrade Youth Center. Since the renewal of the Belgrade Jazz Festival in 2005 within the Youth Center of Belgrade, he has been acting as the program manager of this renowned European festival. So far, as a concert promoter, he has contracted and implemented a total of about 3,000 musical events, of which foreign guest appearances by important rock and jazz bands were the largest part of that engagement.

Together with Zorica Kojić, he is the author of the notable exhibition New Wave in Belgrade – Package Arrangement (1981-2021), set up on the Plateau in front of the Art Pavilion “Cvijeta Zuzorić” during April-July 2021. As the editor of the project, he participated in the making of the film Here You See That can about the first 40 years of the band Electric Orgasm produced by RTS.
