Olga Kepčija began working at Radio Belgrade 202 in 1988, in the newsroom of the Morning Program. In 2001, she started editing Demo Express, a show dedicated to emerging bands, and soon became the host of Hit of the Week, which became a defining part of her career. As an author and host, she also created Domestic Rock’n’Roll Line and Demo Express. After 2008, she launched the annual selection of the best domestic and regional rock artists, Rock Yearbook. Through Demo Express and Hit 202, together with Vladimir Janković Džet, she organized over 400 shows and concerts across Serbia as part of the Karavan 202 tour. She was also one of the initiators of Demo Masters, a competitive festival for young and unsigned rock bands. Together with Vladimir Janković Džet, she received the RTS Annual Award. With colleagues Branko Glavonjić and Vladimir Janković, she co-organized the first televised competition for young bands, BUNT Rock Masters. In 2021, she curated the compilation 100 Original Songs of the New Wave, marking 40 years of the movement. The same year, she co-produced the documentary New Wave – 40 Years Later and a series of 40 programs dedicated to the movement. She is the recipient of the prestigious GODUM Charter for her contribution to jazz, pop, and rock music.
In 2025, with the support of SOKOJ, she published the book Conversations at the Golden Parrot, which achieved notable success and was promoted across libraries, festivals, and music events in Serbia. The book was awarded “Book of the Year” by the association Neki Rok.
