Petar Janjatović was born on June 30, 1956, in Belgrade. He has worked as a journalist since the mid-1970s, contributing to newspapers and magazines such as “Džuboks,” “Start,” “Politikin Zabavnik,” “Rock,” “Politika,” “Stav,” “Duga,” “NIN,” “Vreme,” “Reporter,” “Super Tin,” “XZ,” “Tages Zeitung,” “Transition,” “Finance,” and various youth publications across the former Yugoslavia. He has prepared and hosted numerous music radio and TV shows and served as a correspondent for “Billboard” magazine covering the Balkans. He has also collaborated with BBC Radio, Radio Free Europe, and Deutsche Welle. From March 2003 until the end of 2021, he represented the Dallas Records publishing house in Serbia. He is the author of the “Ex Yu rock enciklopedija 1960-2023,” which was published as the fifth revised edition earlier this year.
