Zoran has been the editor-in-chief and one of the founders of the Croatian pop culture portal Ravno do dna (Ravnododna.com) since 2011. He’s also been hosting the show “Ravno do sna” on Zagreb’s Radio Student every Friday for nine years, dedicated exclusively to the regional independent music scene, as well as showcasing the scene at VIDA. With over 20 years of journalistic experience specialising in music and pop culture, he is also a music critic who has worked across all media formats. He was one of the editor-journalists of HTV’s music show “Ružiona” (2012). He also worked as a journalist for Rolling Stone Croatia, and from October 2014, he was the executive editor of the online portal Rollingstone.hr.

He is the founder and host of the concert program Inkubator (2012–2013) at Tvornica kulture, where he presented 27 young and talented new acts. He organises concerts at Vintage Industrial Bar and DvaOsam (Celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Art&Music festival, performances by Guitar Wolf, Marc O’Reilly, Straight Mickey And The Boyz, Moskau, and Cherkezi United, Klinika Denisa Kataneca…).

His journalistic career followed a musical career. He is one of the founders, and a composer, lyricist, singer, and bassist of the band Subway Dogs (1992–2004), with whom he released three albums. He has been a member of the Croatian Composers’ Society since 1993. Since 2004, he has been actively involved in photography, with a special interest in concerts and artist portraiture. He has also tried his hand at cinematography and directing. He directed the half-hour documentary film “Grabrovec – Tennessee”. He is a co-author of the book “Album na dan” (2024). He also works as a translator and is one of the translators of two music biographies: “Ray Manzarek – Light My Fire: My Life with The Doors” (Dallas – PopUp, 2012) and The Clash – biography (Dallas – PopUp, 2014).
